What’s also similar is their effects or mechanisms of action, which is why rauwolscine has become so popular as of late, but we’ll get to that in just a second.

Rauwolscine Benefits for Bodybuilding

Rauwolscine supposedly offers several advantages for those engaged in bodybuilding (or sports in general). 

Its primary benefit lies in its potential to promote fat loss, making it a valuable tool during cutting phases. 

By acting as an alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist (which we’ll discuss a bit later), Rauwolscine helps increase fat burning. 

Moreover, many bodybuilders use Rauwolscine as a pre-workout supplement to enhance energy levels, improve mood, and gain a mental edge during training sessions.

Now, these effects on athletic performance aren’t proven, and they’re mostly bro-science at this point, but since there is some evidence that rauwolscine can induce serotonin-like effects, there could be some truth to them. [1]

Should You Take Rauwolscine Every Day?

Based on the current information available to us, Rauwolscine can be taken daily. Whether you should or shouldn’t is up to you. 

Some people may prefer to take it only on workout days, while others may find daily use beneficial.

What’s imperative to remember is that until we have sufficient data on the long-term effects of Rauwolscine, it’s probably best to err on the side of caution and take occasional breaks.

Do You Need to Cycle on and Off of Rauwolscine?

Cycling on and off supplements is a common practice in the bodybuilding world, and as far as we’re concerned, Rauwolscine shouldn’t be an exception.

If you’re just starting, there are much better options out there. Creatine, whey protein… Things like that.

It does appear that it could be a helpful addition to your supplement arsenal when cutting or prepping for a show, but it’s definitely not something that will transform you or your body.
